The Other Seatputs the suede on the saddle instead of on the breeches. If you wear full seat breeches, you now have the option of saving money on your breeches, staying more comfortable, and keeping that slight bit of grip that a full seat breech gives. If you have never worn full seat breeches you are in for a very pleasant surprise.
English Saddle Style
The Other Seat is a suede leather saddle seat cover that attaches under the seat of the saddle with elastic and Velcro straps: on English saddles through the dee-rings, and on Cutback saddles under the pannel. The back slips over the cantle and is designed to fit either a square or rounded cantle. The front is cut back for variations in pommel design. It is available in black or brown and various sizes to fit English saddles (child-size through dressage-size), and Cutback saddles.
The Other Seat provides a feeling of securiy, resulting in more confidence to all riders: the novice, the older rider, or the old pro on a green horse. It can be used for breaking in a new slippery saddle, for proctecting it, or for covering an old saddle.
The Other Seatdoes not change the feel of the saddle; it just provides more grip. I am sure once you have tried it, you will agree it rides as well as full suede seat breeches do.

"It was easy to put on, stayed in place well and gripped our tester's legs."
Western Saddle Style
The Other Seatfor Western saddles attaches onto the saddle with an elastic fabric that stretches to conform to the cantle, and a keeper string that should be tied in a double bow to secure. An elastic loop goes under the pommel and back over the saddle horn.
The Other Seat for Endurance saddles attaches onto the saddle with an elastic fabric that stretches to conform to the cantle, with a keeper string that should be tied in a double bow to secure. The fabric over the cantle may be cut to allow any saddle rings to slip through the fabric and still be used. A leather strap passes under the pommel, then back over the pommel, through the elastic where the strap is attached, and under the cover where it attaches with velcro. (see picture below right of pommel attachment)
Style for Tucker Royal Canadian Trooper. Has slit for cantle tab.
